STATEMENT
It has been my experience as an artist that I express my view of the world through art: to do it and to share it with others. I received an associate's degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I attended Pratt Institute having received a bachelor's degree in painting and then a master's in fine arts.
My art is created in an unstructured environment, encompassing in an unconventional manner all I can grasp. The aesthetic expression is primarily conveyed through an interactive medium with where I live and who I live with. For ten years I volunteered to improve the conditions of Noho. Art was a means to bring my community together. My personal responsibility is synonymous with my civic as I aim to promote the economic and cultural vitality and revitalization of NoHo.

“I’ve always believed that art speaks to everyone, so I’ve strived to bring art into my business as executive director of the NOHO NY Business Improvement District. It may seem that art and industry are an unlikely combination, but if I’ve learned anything, it was that with a little ingenuity virtually everything is possible. By creating events like the ArtWalk that marry art and industry, I have been able to bring visibility to both and have been privileged to meet some extraordinary people. My goal for the future is to continue to utilize my artistic background both personally and professionally and of course, wherever possible, serve as an inspiration to today’s youth who have yet to experience all that is possible in the fashion industry.”
